A new X-Files movie slated for 2008!

Out from no where, an X-Files "sequel" is in the works. Years ago when the show went off the air, it was said that a movie was likely, but you hear that all the time, you never actually expect it to come to fruition. I guess Chris Carter was getting tired of his other projects crashing and burning.

At any rate, I'm a bit excited about this news. I've always been a fan of The X Files and this was awesome to hear. I'm just trying to figure out how this is going to get done with the writers strike going on. And I wondering how Billy Connolly, Xzibit, and Amanda Peet are going to fit into the story as agents.
