Today marks 66 years since the Japanese attacked the US Naval base at Pearl Harbor. There was no declaration of war, just a sneak attack on a base while all the troops were sleeping.
It was a cowardly act of war, that claimed many boys' lives while they slept with no fears, as the US wasn't involved in World War II yet.
You should read more about the day of infamy, since this country doesn't seem to want to forget atrocities committed by any country EXCEPT for Japan. Here's a link:
