- Concord, New Hampshire. It was incorporated by Massachusetts as the town of Rumsford in 1733. After lengthy litigation by New Hampshire, which claimed jurisdiction and eventually won, the town was renamed Concord in 1765 in recognition of the resolution of the dispute.
