A couple news items

Busted? The Clinton camp is grasping at strwas trying to discredit Obama so they accused him of plagiarism. Unfortunately for the Clinton camp the governor whose words were used said it was his idea for Obama to use the piece from one of his speeches.

Cuba Libre. A Cuba Libre is rum and cola with a lime, but today that same phrase might hold new meaning and hope as Fidel Castro, despotic leader of Cuba for nearly 50 years, has announced he's stepping down as president. His brother Raul will be assuming full power, which he has had anyway while sitting in for the ailing Fidel. What will the future hold for this land that's been ravaged by communism? Only time will tell what will happen to this last hold out of the Cold War.

McCain carries momentum. As McCain builds more and more momentum in his campaign by picking up more endorsements and primaries, he's looking to the future and who he will be up against for the White House. He's already firing shots over the bows of the democrats.

Hommage to Monroe. Nude photos of Lindsay Lohan doing the Marilyn Monroe are out in the current issue of New York Magazine. I didn't know New York Magazine had nude pictorials. Weird. More here on EGOTASTIC and nymag.com
