Breaking News: Spitzer Resigned

As of Monday Spitzer will be out of office, and David Patterson will be sworn in. He will become the first blind and / or black governor of New York State.

SPITZER RESIGNS

LATEST: New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has resigned -- effective Monday, completing a stunning fall from power after he was nationally disgraced by links to a high-priced prostitution ring. Spitzer will be replaced by Lt. Gov. David Paterson, who will become New York's first black governor.
