How wide are the new seats that were installed for tennis fans at Wimbledon in 2006?
  • 18 inches. They replaced seats that were only 16 inches wide. Wimbledon officials opted for the broader seats after learning that the old ones were barely more than half as wide as the 31-inch seats in British Airways’ economy class.
