Last night I was working on my computer. I'm still having troubles after installing the new motherboard. XP still won't load up. But in the process of testing the system I came to the grim realization that one of my RAM chips was bad. A GIG, down. That might also be the reason my my old system went down, which would mean I didn't need a new motherboard in the first place. :(
