Blogs of note?

I've never paid attention to blogger's Blog's Of Note. That is, until a friend of mine became a blog of note. Then I started becoming resentful of that title. Recently I saw this was a blog of note:

The guy only updates intermittently. My friend who had a blog of note abandoned his blog. In fact, if you go back in the archives MANY of the previous blogs of note are long gone. I think that bothers me because I built this pointless blog of mine from nothing with no readers into a money generator with hundreds of hits daily over the course of four years and never was awarded that distinction. Screw that. I guess I'm not a big enough asshole to get it.
