Finally, some news regarding the third installment in the Underworld movies: The Rise of the Lycans. The movie is currently in post-production and we're looking at a release date on January 23rd, 2009. Once again, Bill Nighy will be reprising his role as Viktor, leader of the Vampyre Clan and how the war between their races began.
Good news:
Michael Sheen will be back as Lucian, as well as the return of the characters of Viktor, Tanis, Kraven, Raze, and Sonja. No word, but Soren should also be back. - Rhona Mitra will be playing Sonja and she's hot.
Bad news:
- No Scott Speedman or Kate Beckinsale. Likely no Amelia or Marcus either. No one has ever explained how Amelia became an elder. Looks like it'll never be explained.
