The Veep Debate, and who won

Last night was the one and only vice-presidential debate for this year's run for the Oval Office. Biden and Palin squaring off. I was expecting this to be a bloodbath, as Sarah Palin hasn't been able to answer simple questions like, "What newspapers do you read?" which was recently posed by Katie Couric. I scored it this way going into the debate, Joe Biden was the winner. He has a long distinguished career and hasn't said too many stupid things to hurt Obama or himself so far. So all he had to to was keep on cruise control and let Palin self destruct.

Right?

Wrong. The McCain camp locked Palin away for about three days to prepare her for the debate. She was prepared. She sounded intelligent and came off very well. All that while looking really hot scored her big points in my book.

Don't get me wrong, based on the debate, both did a great job and neither took a beating. Bravo to both candidates. However, Palin made a huge leap from being a an airhead and a bimbo that she was considered a couple days ago and shows she is smart and has a grasp on things, and not just looking at things from Alaska. Since Biden didn't wreck her, going out of the debate I consider Palin the winner. And she looked cute.
