President Obama

Last night the voters of the United States of America made history by electing the country's first African-American president, Barack Obama. I wish him luck and prosperity for the nation. I have no expectations so it won't be hard for him to impress me as long as he does the right things for the nation.

I have far higher expectations than I would with a McCain/Palin ticket. He's got Biden by his side, a good portion of the world now behind him and an intelligence, vigor and sense of good that I believe will ultimately prevail. I just hope folks don't expect him to be able to clean up the miles long pile of poo W. Jr. left behind for him to clean up, in a short time span. Way to go Barack!
