In the theater: The Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Every year the Holidays mean the coming of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City. Earlier in the season my wife was testing the waters and asked what I know of it. Little to nothing was my response, since I have never seen it. All I know is that it features the high kicking talents of the Radio City Rockettes -- a long line of perfect legs doing high kicks.

So Mrs. Bax0jayz got us tixx for Friday the 26th. That was the day before the 76th Anniversary show, but hey, who knew? And they probably didn't do anything extraordinary for the event anyway.

You should consider getting to the show at least 15 minutes early. They have two gents playing the pipe organ to entertain the patrons before the show. It's impressive to watch the hands gliding across the keys a playing medleys of Christmas songs.

The show itself is a compilation of various Christmas skits with lots of singing and dancing. Each set has it's own complexities. You can go from the Rockettes dressed as reindeer and go to a 3D film, to some other skit. It's really a lot of fun regardless of age. It's nearly 2 hours, and keeps you watching the entire time.

The show ran from Nov 7 through... today, December 30th. If you don't have tickets, then you're out of luck until November 2009. But consider it, it's very entertaining!
