I've been really busy lately, so today's turtle Thursday is just a pic of the little guy who celebrated his 10th birthday this week, Dante. He's a concentric phased diamondback terrapin. It's even a happier birthday because we nearly lost the little guy about four years ago from wounds inflicted by another turtle in the tank. Dante's 100% well now.

Turtle Thursday: A Dante Quickie
I've been really busy lately, so today's turtle Thursday is just a pic of the little guy who celebrated his 10th birthday this week, Dante. He's a concentric phased diamondback terrapin. It's even a happier birthday because we nearly lost the little guy about four years ago from wounds inflicted by another turtle in the tank. Dante's 100% well now.

I hope 10 is not "Dante's Peak".
Turtles don't really have a lifespan like other animals. If you can keep them healthy, they can potentially live forever. It's been documented that a galapagos tortoise has lived well over 200 years.
I should make provisions in my will about these guys, shouldn't I?
Way to go Bob and Dante. Happy beleated b-day lil' turtle dude!
Thanks Steve!
