The Ides Of March: My Fav Five Beers

Since St. Patty's Day falls during the Ides of March I decided to hold off and have my list this month today, the list of my five favorites beers in time for the holiday.

5. Tecate
4. Rogue Dead Guy
3. Dos Equis
2. Samuel Adam's Boston Lager
1. Killian's Irish Red

My choices are simple, I go by a smooth flavor and some kick. Pretty much any of those beers will go well with any occasion or food. On the the list the Dead Guy and Sam Ad are the strongest beers, and pack a punch. Guys who aren't easily buzzed with beer say those two "do the trick" rather quickly. Tecate and Des Equis are Mexican beers that havea smooth taste and goes down just right. Killian's, however, is just my perfect beer. It's smooth, tastes great, and has a nice color to it. In the right dosage it will pack quite a punch. It's just a coincidence that my #1 happens to be an Irish beer, but that's the reason why I deferred this month's list until today.
