With this year’s Download Festival, held at the legendary Donington Park in Derbyshire UK between 12-14th June, already fast becoming THE festival to be at this year after announcing that Faith No More will be reforming to appear at the festival, Century Media are pleased to announce the addition of LACUNA COIL to this year’s bill

A highly excited Cristina Scabbia comments on the band’s appearance at Download 2009: "Hello everyone! Once again, this year we'll be honored to be part of the Download festival and we're absolutely, hysterically, madly excited about that! Not only because we will be finally able to let you guys listen to some of the new stuff from the upcoming album "Shallow Life" but also because there will be a lot of really great bands to check out and to hang out with! I personally can't wait to see Faith No More in action after so many years, it'll be a total blast! It's definitely an edition you can't miss, I always have a great time at Download, but I sense this year will be even more exciting.

With LACUNA COIL’s highly anticipated new album “Shallow Life” due for release on April 20th the band are currently starting an extensive US Arena tour with Disturbed on the ‘Music As A Weapon IV’ tour from 20th March - 17th May before coming back to Europe for some summer festival appearances.
