A review: Relapse to Recovery by These Green Eyes (CD 2009)

I got my hands on the full album a couple weeks ago. I really had no idea what to expect from these guys as nothing is what it seems in the current music atmosphere. What I found was a very well polished rock album.

The vocals are crystal clear, and the singer has quite a nice voice. The rest of the instruments are well represented in production values. Being a drummer guy, I tend to grade a band heavily on the quality of the drumming and the sound. I was very pleased with both aspects. It's very easy to over- or underwhelm a record just by improper drum levels.

Here's the track list:

1. At The End
2. Paramedic
3. Kick The Crutch
4. Tell Me Everything
5. Drunk Driver
6. Two Minute Warning
7. Blood Sweat And Beers
8. Sucker Punch (Won’t Get Away With It)
9. Last Call At The Dolly
10. Words
11. Time Of Our Lives

I would definitely say it's a very good album. I listened to it twice to get the feel, and several times since then just for the fun of it. I haven't found that in a new act for a while.

Definitely worth listening to, definitely worthwhile to buy.
