I haven't had much time to check out any movies in a while, but since Mrs. Bax0jayz saw The Haunting in Connecticut last week, I figured I'd interview her and post her opinions for you to ponder.
Supposedly this film is based on true events. How much exactly, who knows. My guess there probably is a house in Connecticut, actually many houses, and one of them might've had something weird happen. More than likely the dog was farting and know one would own up to it so the owners struck it up to a poltergeist infestation.
This movie has the usual thin story for a ghost movie. A person jumps on an amazing deal on a house. Sight, unseen. How anyone can buy a house without the rest of the family noticing it is beyond me. Then they move in and weird stuff happens. I was told the movie isn't scary, but is creepy.
My wife calls it an "okay movie." For a 102 minute flick with a very thin story and doesn't even scare you, I wouldn't suggest running to the theaters to catch it before it vanishes. Wait for the DVD and see it at home.

I wouldn't even see it on DVD. LOL
I would rent friday the 13th and watch that over again. Now THAT was a great scarey movie. Jason was awesome, and there's lots of gore. :)
Al Gore? That IS scary!
