Clothing Designer Eva Franco talks to Unique Los Angeles

Eva Franco is a fast-growing Los Angeles based collection. Her travels around the world serve as inspiration, while vintage pieces found at local flea markets help add a whimsical attention to detail. Inspiration comes from what Franco refers to as a "controlled-chaotic-creative space." "Sometimes pieces of fabric will be laid on a table next to a trim or another print and i'll be inspired by this random pairing and it will end up being the biggest seller of the season," says Franco, "I don't believe in making anything basic - if I'm designing a top it will have to have something special and unexpected, perhaps a leather belt i've created with special stitching or appliques." Eva Franco is one of 275 local Los Angeles designers, artists and merchants being featured at the Spring UNIQUE Los Angeles Independent Design and Gift Sale.
