This month I will discuss my top five favorite actors and why they made my list. Some actors that didn't make the top five but came close were: Tim Curry, Matt Damon, David Duchovny, Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, Mitch Pileggi, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine, etc, etc...
5. Simon Pegg. I have developed a fascination with Simon. My fist dose of his work was from Shaun of the Dead. Right in the middle of zombie-mania in the cinema this guy stars in a COMEDY about a zombie outbreak in England and made a great job of it. Since then his work has always been brutal, brilliant, and very funny. How can you make a Simon Pegg movie better? Just add Bill Nighy...
4. Johnny Depp. Johnny is a funny actor. He's polarizing. He can make you like him or despise him rather easily. There was a time after he left 21 Jump Street that he developed a real bad boy image and effectively ruined his Hollywood credibility. It took years for Johnny to come back and squash that perception. Now he's known as a multi-faceted actor who can put people in the seats in the theaters.
3. Christopher Walken. Simply, any project is better when you add Christopher Walken to it. Regardless of what he does or what he's in, he's always Christopher Walken which is really awesome. The creepy voice. The creepy face. The creepy look. The creepy everything. Even when he's chipper he freaks you out. He's a guy I would NEVER want to meet just because he would probably creep me out to the point that I couldn't tell him how AMAZING he is. Oh, and ask him WTF is up with that hair?
2. Christian Bale. Christian looks like an old friend of mine named Patrick, which blew my mind when I saw American Psycho. Bale was awesome in that movie as a homicidal maniac named Patrick Bateman. Seeing Patrick as a deranged killer make me chuckle through most of the movie. A funny note, in the book American Psycho, one woman keeps referring to Bateman as BATMAN, which would be another role that Bale would take on later and performed perfectly. In a week we'll see Bale as the leader of the human resistance in Terminator Salvation. It's also rumored he'll be in Terminator 5. Yep, this guy gets a lot of work, but he deserves it. Very believable in any role. Just don't check the lights while he's doing a scene.
1. Bill Nighy. The most talented actor that you may never have heard of. If you click that link you'll see that Nighy (pronounced Nie) has over 90 projects to his credit, not as many as Walken, but still manages to elude being a household name. He has been in most of the Simon Pegg films. He was in the last two Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He was a star in all three Underworld movies. He goes from one end of the spectrum to the other seamlessly. One of the greatest talents of our time. Just the mention that Nighy is in a movie makes me want to got see a movie. Bill Nighy, my #1 fav actor.

I'll agree with you on Simon Pegg, and Walken, of course. I think Johnny Depp "plays for both teams".
He's been living in France for years. That certainly wouldn't make matters better for Johnny's image.
