And so I'm back

Our flight arrived at JFK Airport about 10 minutes early last night, about 9:45. Originally my wife estimated, based on previous experience, that we wouldn't get in for hours after that. We have usually had substantial delays trying to get out of Jamaica. It was just a poorly organized airport and nothing seemed to get in or out on time.

But after having to get through immigrations and customs, it was gaining on 11 PM. Then our cab arrived about 45 minutes later. After all's said and done, our arrival at 9:45 got us home past midnight.

My wife foresaw such difficulties and asked me to take an extra vacation day, today, to rest after our vacation. I told her I would only do so IF she will go see Terminator Salvation with me. She agreed.

Until this morning. We got up, and I was in my usual good spirits in the morning and dashed off to get some food. I told my wife I'd go outside and quickly run the mower over the lawn to make her happy, and we can check to see the playing times for the movie. She flatly stated, "I have no time for that today." So in other words I got phucked out of a vacation day. What a waste. I'm furious about this.

At any rate, my review tomorrow will be the entire vacation package. I think. Let's see where the cards fall. If I see the movie I'll review it instead.
