Los Angeles, CA – July 16, 2009 — LP33.tv (www.lp33.tv), a company devoted to the discovery, enjoyment and sharing of new music, has entered into a strategic partnership with Lollapalooza to deliver exclusive content for a first-ever dedicated Lollapalooza channel. Fans will have access to exclusive content such as interviews, performances, backstage footage and videos on the LP33.tv Lollapalooza channel (www.lp33.tv/lollapalooza) and through Lollapalooza’s Facebook page before, during and after the event.
Through a custom Facebook application, the LP33.tv media player is integrated into the Lollapalooza Facebook page, allowing fans multiple ways to enjoy the festival coverage and participate in unique contests and giveaways. As part of the partnership, LP33.tv has designed fan-centric contests that offer fans unprecedented opportunities to be part of the festival. Contests include three-day festival passes with a three-night stay at the famous Hard Rock Hotel, and two exclusive opportunities:
- Fan Correspondent – Fans can enter to win the opportunity to be an on-camera correspondent on LP33.tv’s Lollapalooza channel.
- Secret Meet-Ups – During the festival, winners will receive a text message alerting them to the time and place where they can hook up with a featured LP33.tv artist.
In keeping with the company mission, LP33.tv’s exclusive content will live beyond the festival to support the artists and Lollapalooza through syndication across the Internet.
