Provided by the compucert Ever since I started listing links as a daily feature on this blog I have been looking around trying to find "blogs of note" to share with my readers. Much to my chagrin, for every Heff or Wil or Bunche out there, who write fun and/or compelling posts, there are a couple dozen blogs that are worthless in any value. In my recent searches for entertaining blogs I seem to keep coming up with the same thing: bored housewives who write boring blogs so they can do something creative with their otherwise dull day. The ironic part is that their creative outlet usually isn't creative at all and just as drab as their hum-drum lives.
I don't want to be mean. No, maybe I do. It's not THAT hard to come up with content that people want to read. I manage to get tons of hits that generate revenue and a lot of it is piped in from various sources. I throw in my thoughts and some crude humor here and there and I get readers. Followers, well, it seems no one wants to own up to that. LOL!
So, in closing, I challenge all those crab bloggers out there to post a joke, a funny pic, an interesting observation, and let me know about your blog of note and I will share it with my massive international readership. I don't expect any comments on this, as people rarely do, but hey, it's worth a shot.

I certainly wouldn't call MY posts "compelling", lol ! But I DO know the type of blog you're talking about. The typical "Here's my housecat, isn't she pretty. She likes milk." type blogger. Blah !
I consider mine "The Anti-Blog". Pointless other than for some krappy humor.

And YOU KNOW what I mean. There are some awful blogs out there. Mine is no prize winner, but I get people coming.
I couldn't agree more. I used to do a feature I called "Next Blog" where I would click on the next blog button and put them on my page. Man, there really is a load of shite out there.
Speaking for Heff and myself, we put a lot time and effort into our blogs and talk about them to each other all the time. It all goes back to the same old real life cliches in the end. If you are a reasonably attractive woman, you will get lots of comments. Or if you feature a reasonably attractive woman (Heff).
Pretty much everyone that comments on my page is a fan of Heff's also. That's also because whenever I get a new commenter Heff immediately goes right over to their page and comments which has been a long running joke with us. In contrast, I don't pull a lot of Heff's people over to me, even though Heff has blatantly advertised for me many o' times. I have left some classic comments over at Heff's (Heff and I both are GREAT commenters if I do say so myself) but I think that a lot of what I say comes across as a little dry or just flat out goes over most people's heads.
The best way to describe me and my sense of humor in real life is a cross between Denis Leary and Dennis Miller, I think Heff will attest to that. I am a master of trivia but I will also come out and say things that other people will only think but never say. I actually have to tone it down for the blog, LOL.
Anyway, I think I have now gotten myself lost so I better wrap it up. Thank you for your support!
