A funny thing happened on my way to work this morning

Edit/update @ 9:11 AM: As I stepped off the #7 train at Queensboro Plaza I smelled the distinct wreak of an electrical fire. When you look towards the rear of the Manhattan-bound platform the haze of smoke starting filling in and platform employees were scurrying about trying to get a handle on teh situation. The N train finally appeared through the black billowing cloud and moved into the station. I was all too eager to get on that train and get off the platform. I was certain that major delays were in the near future for city-bound Ns and 7s after that. However, when the secretary got in on time, it seems disaster was averted. This time.
