I bought a refurbished IBM Netvista Tower PC a couple months back because of my computer problems at home. Right out of the box it worked great. And the moment it arrived, I got my old machine to work again, too. It seemed I was back up to full strength, with two regular PCs and a netbook all up and running. I got a new KVM setup and got back up to speed.
Until last week. The IBM jammed on start-up. I thought there might be some motherboard issue, but after taking the case apart and it started normally I figured out it was related to the power button. It started working again for a while and it stopped again last night. I think the switch jams up and causes he main-board to not go through it's sequences. Power only goes on and off at the surge protector. I might leave it running if I get it to start properly tonight.
An annoying setback and waste of time.
