What I'm watching on TV: V (2009)

For the first time in years there's programming on network television that I actually look forward to seeing. Most of it is on Fox, but last night ABC added something to my MUST-SEE list...

V. I heard a while back that ABC was going to revive the series / mini-series about an invasion of extraterrestrial aliens disguised as humans: V. There were TWO mini-series and a short-lived series on NBC during the 80s starring Mark Singer and Robert Englund. Of course it also featured Jane Badler as Diana, the hottest villain on TV. That is, until the NEW series came out. The leader of the Visitors is Anna, played by Morena Baccarin. She has a sweetness and beauty that you KNOW is the direct opposite of what her character will become. Brilliant casting.

Last night was the first episode and I'm all in. The show is already good, even though it's just started. Usually the early episodes are boring while they try to establish a story, but so far, so good. Tuesdays on ABC at 8 PM EST. I can't wait for the next episode!
