Allstar Weekend formed while the four members were still in high school. Comprised of Zach (vocals), Nathan (guitar, vocals), Cameron (bass) and Michael (drums), the band wrote, produced and recorded songs and put them up on MySpace. The demos impressed Richard and Stefanie Reines, founders of Drive-Thru Records, who are now managing the band.
Allstar Weekend and its first single, “Journey to the End of My Life,” caught the attention of Radio Disney which added the band to its “N.B.T. (Next Big Thing) programming feature, one that puts the spotlight on young unsigned artists and provides them with national exposure. The response was so positive that they were subsequently signed to Hollywood Records and are currently writing and recording their debut CD, expected this June. Allstar Weekend has already shared the stage with bands like Selena Gomez & The Scene, Justin Bieber, The Maine, Forever the Sickest Kids and Savanna.
