In the cinema: She's Out Of My League

The newspaper stated that if you like guy humor as in the movie The Hangover, you'll like She's Out Of My League. That was all my wife needed to hear, so we saw it opening night.

Okay, it is a guy comedy. A lot of guy talk with plenty of dysfunction and games of numbers tossed in. But the characters are so much like caricatures that it's hilarious. The chunky chumpy friend who happens to be the only one was able to get a woman and keep her. The ridiculous loud mouthed friends who speak first from testosterone and not from experience. The unbelievably nerdy lead, Kirk, who somehow manages to score a babe who is way too hot for him, Molly.

The movie revolves around the awkward dating between the beauty and the beast and the mishaps that happen in between. As you can imagine, the ugly duckling ends up a swan, well, more like a slightly less ugly duckling in the end, with the girl.

Thoroughly improbable, but still entertaining. Check it out while you can. it got creamed in the weekend box office.
