ROBERT FRANCIS:
Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Robert Francis will head to Austin's SXSW on March 18th. After SXSW, Francis will join acclaimed U.K. five-piece Fanfarlo for a run of dates that begin on March 27th and continue into April. The spring shows come as Francis' lead single Junebug is set to impact on April 19th at Modern Rock and Triple A radio formats. The track is quickly garnering international acclaim overseas in Europe, where Francis has spent most of the year thus far. Francis released his Atlantic debut Before Nightfall last October. Growing up in Los Angeles as the youngest in a family of musicians, he possesses a maturity far beyond his years. Even though he's only 22 years old, he's been compared to classic American songwriters ranging from Townes Van Zandt and Steve Earle to Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
