On DVD: Black Dynamite

A friend had posted a clip from the movie Black Dynamite on Facebook and it only took that one minute to have me laughing until tears rolled out of my eyes. I knew I had to watch the full movie!

Black Dynamite is spoof of 1970s Blaxploitation movies. Considering how that genre is already like a spoof of mainstream movies you know this has to be a train-wreck but in the best of ways possible.

The concept: The government is trying to keep down the black man by spiking the malt liquor supply with a drug that shrinks the penis. The movie is about how Black Dynamite has to go all the way to the top, along with an all-star cast to take down the conspiracy. Along the way is a trail of karate scenes and lovely ladies.

The movie is bad, but hysterically so. It's filled with so many non-politically correct morsels and crude jokes that if you don't break down laughing out loud, you can't have a funny bone! I highly recommend this film if you need a hearty guffaw!
