REVIEW: In the cinema: Salt

SaltThat's right, this weekend I got out to see TWO movies. Next up: SALT starring Angelina Jolie as Agent Evelyn Salt. The script was originally written for Tom Cruise who, obviously, turned it down. I think it worked out better this way!

This flick is about a deep seated Soviet conspiracy set into all facets of governments around the world. They are sleeper cells waiting to be activated to bring on the end of the United States.

The movie is about the trap being sprung on the US as Evelyn Salt is implicated in an assassination to take place the next day. From that moment on the movie is a frantic paced action thriller with more twists and turns than you'd expect from this sort of movie. You're left scratching you head frequently as the nest twist will shake what you had previously known form the movie.

This is a really fun movie. It's fun on the big screen, and I have a feeling the DVD will have extras that will make it worth seeing to. Check it out!
