Alternative Rock label Filament Records announces an opening on their roster

National and international bands are now being invited to submit professional recordings to Filament Records. Over the next two months Filament’s A&R division will have a team reviewing materials and reaching out to bands they are interesting in speaking with further.

Just one year after signing their first two bands, Modena and Irvine, Filament Records is opening it’s roster to sign two more bands. After sifting through over 300 submissions Filament is expanding their search for exceptional bands to join the label. The search is open to include all national and international acts who meet the criteria.

Requirements for submission are having, or being in the process of recording industry standard music, either a full length, EP, or demo; being an establish band of hard working musicians; and being ready to do whatever it takes to build a solid name in the industry. Filament is a Hard Rock/Alternative Rock label and is looking for bands solely in these genres.

“In an effort to bring some great rock music to a more regional/national level Filament Records was born in early 2010. In less than a year we’ve put out two EP’s (industry standard recordings), have a single in drive time rotation on commercial radio on the Carolina coast, our artists are getting significant college radio, and have been accepted by Pandora radio. Our focus in music is ‘true rock’ that is modern and fresh, ‘commercially acceptable’ and top quality.” -Tony Andrews, CEO Filament Records

Bands on the label are given support in the areas of distribution, promotion, marketing, web presence and site building, and radio.

Filament artist have the added advantage of the full service booking agency C&A Media Group booking.
