Il Volo Review and Giveaway Opportunity

Il Volo, three teenage tenors from Italy, are about to take the US by storm with the release of their self-titled debut on Geffen Records April 12th (available digitally April 11th). Already platinum in their native Italy, Il Volo showcases the astonishing vocal talent of 17-year-old Piero Barone and 16-year-olds Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, as they perform both new and traditionally influenced pop songs. Audiences across the world are consistently blown away by the undeniable vocal talent from these Italian teen idols - see it to believe it with their "O Sole Mio" music video.

The group formed in 2009 after Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca appeared on the popular Italian talent show Ti Lascio Una Canzone, dazzling viewers with their flawless rendition of "O Sole Mio." The boys then named their new group "Il Volo," meaning "flight," chosen to signify the feeling that these three young tenors were about to spread their wings and fly.
Their Italian debut, released in November 2010, was certified platinum in less than three months with no radio or video airplay and only a few television performances. Il Volo's 12 tracks include both classic and new compositions, including their versions of a few Italian classics like "O Sole Mio," and two new songs written specifically for the group by multi-platinum songwriter Diane Warren.
