Review Tuesday: On CD - Greatest Shit by KMFDM

Greatest ShitOver the last decade I have continued to be surprised by the albums that KMFDM has put out since their break up in the late 90s. So after so many years together in various shapes and forms they have finally put together a compliation album called GREATEST SHIT.

There's not a whole lot I can say about this album. It truly is great! [I'm a big fan so you can take anything I say with a grain of salt. ;) ] However, I loved this record for two reasons.
  1. This really is a collection of great KMFDM music.
  2. It's interesting listening to how the sound of the band changed and evolved over the years.
I ordered my copy directly from the KMFDM official website. They have different editions, I'd recommend the 2 CD set. More discs means more ultra-heavy beat! Of course, you can click on the pic above and order from ym site, that would be cool, too.

If you never collected their music, this would be a great start. If you're a longtime fan, you'd be pleased having so many great tracks lined up. Go for either way! Enjoy these gods of industrial music!
