Review Tuesday: Tha Funk Capital Of The World by Bootsy Collins

Tha Funk Capitol Of The WorldWhen I got word about a new Bootsy Collins album coming out, I became immediately excited! There are few musicians in this world with the skill to rock out the funk and make you feel GOOD like the way that only Bootsy can.

Here is the track list:
1. Spreading Hope Like Dope (Intro) 1:46
2. Hip Hop @ Funk U (Feat. Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Chuck D, And Swavay) 4:10
3. Mirrors Tell Lies (Feat. Jimi Hendrix) 5:10
4. JB-Still The Man (Feat. Rev. Al Sharpton) 4:30
5. Freedumb (When-Love-Becomes-A-Threat) [Feat. Dr. Cornel West] 4:05
6. After These Messages (Feat. Samuel L. Jackson) 4:53

16. Chocolate Caramel Angel (Feat. Faith Daniels, Ronni Racket & Casper) 6:57
17. Yummy, I Got The Munchies (Feat. Musiq Soulchild, Razzberry & Tom Joyner)
As you can see, joining Bootsy on this funktacular musical experience is an eclectic cast of characters. I don't think I'd ever expect to see Buckethead and Al Sharpton on the same album, but here they are! And guess what? It's all FUNKIN' GOOD! Nay, BRILLIANT! It's all music to make you feel good while listening to, and puts that smile on your face. I can't say enough about how good this record is. Just go and get yourself a copy.
