AWOLNATION heading out on the road this Summer

Los Angeles, CA – June 20, 2011 – A momentous month it has been for enigmatic LA rock band AWOLNATION thus far.

 

Just last week, the band's runaway radio juggernaut, "Sail" has claimed the #10 spot on the modern rock charts here in the States, sharing the top 10 with the likes of Mumford & Sons, Death Cab For Cutie, and Foo Fighters while simultaneously nailing #2 in Canada. However there's no time to breathe for AWOLNATION as they gear up for a Nationwide summer tour.

 

"Sail" is the first single from AWOLNATION's debut long player, Megalithic Symphony, and was recently featured on iTunes as one of the “Great Albums of 2011”.

 

AWOLNATION have been traversing the globe since Megalithic Symphony's March 29th release on Red Bull Records, playing sold out, turbo-charged shows in the U.S., Canada and London.

 

AWOLNATION are slated to play North American dates throughout the summer, as well as the Austin City Limits festival in mid-September. Confirmed dates are as follows:
