Last night I reported that there is a credible but unsubstantiated terror threat aimed at New York City and Washington DC.
Today we get more details. It appears the threat was intercepted in Pakistan and is aimed at infrastructure. Weapon of choice this time: CAR BOMBS. I've already seen stepped up security in NYC subways this morning. I imagine that the measures will continue throughout the weekend.
Other locations being cautious: subways, public transportation, bridges, tunnels, religious sites, 9/11 memorials, and all the usual places that the bad guys usually like to strike at.
