As a fan of the zombie genre, and when my friends gave this movie high marks, I had to watch ZOMBIELAND.
So I acquired it right away.
And waited about eight months before watching it.
In a post-zombie-apocalypse world, four survivors are drawn cautiously together for a cross country drive.
Zombies. Violence. Killing. Bill Murray. Sounds like the makings for a good zombie movie. Emphasis on good. Not bad, not great, just good. The entire cast does their jobs well. The story is fine. It's a simple entertaining zombie movie.
Definitely worth watching, but don't get caught up in the greatness that some people assign to it. If you do, you might end up disappointed.
Get it on Amazon.

Agreed.
When I saw it (at the theater) I was unimpressed.
In fact, I think the only time I even LAUGHED was when Bill Murray was "zombied up", and they said "Good Lord - You look like EDWARD VAN HALEN !!"
A lot of people used Bill Murray's appearance as a selling point, but he was on only briefly. He was funny when he was on, but...
meh.
