Review Tuesday: Without Remorse by Tom Clancy

My coworker handed me a book and only said, "I think you'll like this." It was WITHOUT REMORSE by Tom Clancy. I had never read Clancy in the past and always wanted to, so this was a perfect opportunity.

As I understand it this book is a prequel showing the origins of the character Mr. Clark from some of Clancy's other work.

The story has several complex layers with very well developed characters. There's much violence, but most of it isn't gratuitous. The bad guys are BAD. John Kelly, the anti-hero, is a very sympathy-inspiring character as he does what he has to for his country, and the memory of the woman he loved.

The book is over 700 pages, and it's not for the squeamish. I will not bother going into any more detail about the book because there's just so much. The book is great and is well worth it to read. So just do it!
