AWOLNATION adds spring tour dates with Neon Trees

AWOLNATION has confirmed a dozen new spring tour dates in the U.S., including a co-headline outing with Neon Trees. The band, on the road now, will kick off their spring tour April 1 in Canada, followed by a short tour of the Pacific Northwest before two huge shows at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California April 14 and 21. AWOLNATION’s first show with Neon Trees, May 1 at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma will be followed by an east coast run including Paradise in Boston on May 7 and Webster Hall in New York on May 9.

“Not Your Fault,” now the band’s second consecutive top 5 single, is one of the hottest songs at Alternative radio in North America. Meanwhile, the band’s debut single “Sail” is nearing platinum sales in the U.S. and double platinum in Canada.

AWOLNATION recently released the highly anticipated app for their new comic action video game Megalithic Mayhem, designed for both iPhone and iPad. The game, inspired by the group’s surreal, animated music video for their latest single “Not Your Fault,” was previously available only on the web at http://www.megalithicmayhem.com/ and Facebook http://apps.facebook.com/megalithicmayhem. Performing hundreds of live shows throughout a breakout year, the band’s debut full-length release Megalithic Symphony (Red Bull Records) was the #1 Billboard Heatseekers album of 2011 topping the chart several times over. Featured on iTunes as one of the “Great Albums of 2011,” as well as Amazon’s “Top 100 Albums of 2011,” Megalithic Symphony is currently available in stores and online.
