One last crappy weekend of tickets sales for the unofficial last weekend of summer. The Possession was able to claim #1 bragging rights with merely $17.7 mill.
The studios are happy to see this summer come to an end. With ticket sales off by some 4% it's been pretty ugly. I wonder if it has to do with the assortment of uninteresting crap they've been putting out? Maybe.
