A few word from your humble narrator

Update for friends and family outside of the area - just rain and some wind so far. We're far enough from water and high enough that flooding is not a concern. There aren't any tall trees nearby to worry about. We're just staying in watching TV until it's safe to go out again. Of course the winds are high enough now that we have occasional lights flickering.
