Armed Guard Disarms Shooter At Atlanta Middle School

A student was disarmed by an armed officer after he opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck. More HERE.

My question, why ISN'T this plastered all over the news? The answer is, it proves the theory that the best way to keep armed bad guys in check is by allowing the good guys to protect themselves. This could've been another tragic story like December's shooting in Connecticut but it wasn't because an armed officer was on the scene.
