Pope resigns

Effective the end of this month, Pope Benedict XVI will resign from his job as Pontiff of the Catholic Church. He says that his health is preventing him from continuing. No Pope has resigned in about 600 years.

Some people speculate he's quitting in advance of some big scandal, but what can be worse than his history including being a member of Hitler's Youth, and presiding over the priest molestation scandals?
