What's going on here? At one time the superhero movies used to destroy all in ticket sales, but now the numbers are off. It seems that Hollywood has, once again, killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. With such a saturation of hero flicks people are turning their backs on these movies. It doesn't help when pseudo-intellectual reviewers spend too much time with comments like, "nothing new here," and the similar.
I saw THE WOLVERINE on opening day and my review should be up tomorrow.
