Review Tuesday: Split Second by Alex Kava

Not too long ago I picked up a stack of used novels in the Poconos, Split Second by Alex Kava was amongst them and I had a chance to read it.
An FBI profiler is on the trail of an escaped serial killer, or is she playing into his vicious game of death?
We follow Maggie O'Dell, expert FBI profiler, as she tries to track down her arch-nemesis, serial killer Albert Stucky. The only trouble is that he's had months to prepare and plan for how he would, ultimately, destroy O'Dell.

This is part of Alex Kava's Maggie O'Dell series. I have the feeling there are at least two books before this one, but Kava writes a great tale and fills you in on the important details and doesn't leave you scratching your head.

The book is a series of ups and downs, twists and turns and pretty fast paced. It keeps you turning pages despite the viciousness and gore depicted. It was definitely a fun book to read and I highly recommend it.
