Isn't this a surprise? T3h Bax0jayz watching something that's considered a critically acclaimed and provocative? Sure, Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman dyke out in one scene, so it was worth watching just for that. But I digress...
We follow a ballerina and her descent into madness after she grasps her life's dream, the lead in SWAN LAKE.
This is a film directed by Darren Aronofsky. AS I understand it his films are choppy and twisting and really leave you guessing until the very end. He lived up to his reputation with this movie. There's just so many odd things going on around Nina (Portman) that you don't know what is real and what is imagined. She lands the lead role in Swan Lake as the Swan Queen, but the stress of it all takes it's toll immediately. Then add Lily (Kunis) as a possible usurper to the thrown, yet sexually aroused by her free nature, Nina doesn't know how to deal with her.
This flick is 108 minutes. I must say it was a wild road of lunacy from the beginning to the end. You're thrown for loops and then spiral down to the tragic ending. I must say, I was originally curious about seeing these two little cuties lezbo out, but the entire film was so compelling that the sexiness of that one scene is washed away with all the odd occurrences abound. Certainly worth watching if you like movies that are strangely thrilling and tug at your sense of reason and dashes it on the rocks.
