Looks like the box office was TRANSFORMED into a winning weekend for Michael Bay and his explosion laced franchise. I have no doubt that TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION will hold onto that #1 spot for the July 4th weekend with only a new rated R comedy with Melissa McCarthy coming out (TAMMY) and a horror flick (Deliver us From Evil). Maybe they hope the new family flick EARTH TO ECHO will make major waves?
