New Medicine Release New Music Video

Minneapolis alternative rock quartet New Medicine have just released their video for the debut single “One Too Many.” The video was premiered on Alternative Press and can be seen at: http://youtu.be/CUZ23snWvzI. The video follows lead singer Jake Scherer’s antics during a long day of drinking where he ends up in a dumpster, partying in a limo, stealing drinks from patrons and even gets into a fight with security. The video was directed by Dillon Novak of RSM Creative, who has also worked with Smile Empty Soul, Crown The Empire and Issues to name a few.

“One Too Many” comes from the band’s sophomore release Breaking The Model which was released on August 25th via Imagen Records. Midwest Music Scene recently raved “…haven’t had this much fun listening to an album since the Beastie Boys 1998 release Hello Nasty” and New Transcendence exclaimed “, is rising quickly and they’re leaving all the haters in the dust!” The album is available in various bundles at http://www.imagenrecords.com/merch/. The album can also be purchased digitally at iTunes at http://tinyurl.com/BTMiTunes and at Amazon at http://tinyurl.com/BTMAmazon. Breaking The Model was produced by Kevin Kaddish, known for his work with O.A.R., Skillet, Meat Loaf and Miley Cyrus to name a few.

New Medicine is hitting the road this week in support of Breaking The Model. The band will be jumping on the September 11th, 12th, 16th and 20th stops on this year’s Uproar Festival playing alongside Godsmack and Seether. They will also be appearing at this year’s Aftershock Festival on Septmeber 14th. The band will also be hitting a few radios shows in Texas this October before opening a few dates for Pop Evil. New Medicine has also been tapped as the direct support for longtime friends Halestorm on their upcoming US tour that rolls out this coming November and December. The tour kicks off November 11th in Chattanooga and wraps up December 9th in Baton Rouge. Links to purchase tickets for any of the upcoming New Medicine dates can be found on their website at http://www.newmedicinerock.com. Full tour dates are below.

Formed in 2009, New Medicine burst on the scene with their 2010 debut, Race To The Bottom. That album went on to sell over 30,000 copies based on the strength of the music, radio support and a hectic tour schedule. The band also found success on satellite radio with Sirius/XM’s Octane Channel embracing three songs from their debut and had a Top 20 Mainstream Rock hit with the single “Race You To The Bottom.” The band has toured alongside the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Halestorm, Adelita’s Way, Hollywood Undead and Stone Sour to name a few.
