Nashville alt/pop artist Sinclair has released her upbeat new single, "The World Is Ours," which will be available on her upcoming EP, Sweet Talk, due out on November 4th via Drive Music. Fans can preorder Sinclair's new E.P. on iTunes now, and will receive an instant grat. track for both "Holla" and "The World Is Ours."
Purevolume.com calls "The World Is Ours" uplifting. In a recent interview with NYLON Magazine, Sinclair was said to employ "catchy hooks, blues chord progressions, and storytelling in her music."
"I wrote 'The World is Ours' a couple months after meeting my now wife, Natalie. It's about falling in love with whoever you want, whether you're supposed to or not. It's our story." - Sinclair in a recent interview with Purevolume.
Born in upstate New York, Sinclair cut her teeth as a competitive classical guitarist, earning multiple local and national accolades. Although encouraged to play music, Sinclair found herself at offs with the views of her pastoral father and eight siblings when, at age 20, she revealed she was a lesbian. Feeling suddenly disconnected from her familial roots and small town in which she was raised, Sinclair moved to Nashville in pursuit of both a musical and personal identity. Since arriving in Nashville, Sinclair has quickly earned a reputation as one of Nashville's most promising artists.
