For a weekend that it didn't seem like too many people bothered with the movies, CHAPPIE was able to take the #1 spot with only $13 mill. I guess all the buzz around Blomkamp taking over the ALIEN franchise didn't put asses into seats. Or maybe people are just getting tired of his movies about dystopian societies? Or maybe people just aren't ready for DIE ANTWOORD being on the silver screen?
